Last Wednesday, September 21, the Minister of Health, Ximena Aguilera, announced the end of the mobility pass and the masks, which we remember that the latter has been present with us since the Covid-19 pandemic was declared in the country.

Today the Minsal reported 4,559 new cases in Chile. From the report it can be deduced that we have 12,202 active cases to date, a positivity of 8.51% at the national level and an unfortunate balance of 43 deceased people registered in the last 24 hours.

When is the use of masks no longer mandatory in Chile?

This October 1, the use of a mask will no longer be mandatory throughout the national territory, however, its use is recommended in transport, crowds and for people with covid-19 symptoms.

In the only instance where it will be mandatory, it will be in health centers throughout the country.
